PURPOSE: To provide a method for controlling the temp. of the drying air of a photosensitive material drying device which can finish the photosensitive material to an optimum dry state by preventing the generation of undrying and unequal drying. ;CONSTITUTION: A film F is transported by a transporting roller 44 and is dried by the drying air from nozzle sections 47A. The temp. T of the drying air is determined by equation TD=[-β+√{β2-4α(γ-Z)}]/2α+K. The coeffts. α, β, γ are the coeffts. determined by the construction and conditions of the drying air section. The drying air controlled in heating by heaters so as to attain the drying air temp. TD to be determined by this equation is sent into spray pipes 47 from which the drying air is blown to the film F, by which the optimum drying is eventually maintained.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1994,JPO&Japio
