PURPOSE: To mechanize each working process of cores forming a cable, to automatically perform the working and to promote quality and work efficiency without damaging or breaking a core sheath, a shield layer, an insulating layer, a conductor, etc. ;CONSTITUTION: A terminal processing method of a closed shield wire is such that a plurality of closed shield cores are projected from the holders having specific length by a pair of holders 506a and 506b in an indexing section after a cable sheath is stripped to hold them in an approximate circle shape at specific intervals and that a plurality of processing sections from core cutting to shield processing together with a mounting table 500 mounting the cable 50 thereon are turned around them to make terminal processing. After that, turning is made by angles corresponding to a specific interval from one end to the other end of the holders 506a and 506b at the indexing section, and the terminal processed cores are positioned at a specific position.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1994,JPO&Japio
