PURPOSE:To provide the ozone-bioactive carbon treatment device which prevents the microorganisms leaking from a bioactive carbon treatment column to be used for advanced water purifying treatment device as a pretreatment for city water, etc., from acting as the sources for pollution in an active carbon treated water tank and can decrease the burdens of the treatment column and sand filter column for treating waste gaseous ozone to make the ozone pollution-free. CONSTITUTION:This ozone-bioactive carbon treatment device has the ozone treatment column 2 in which the gaseous ozone is diffused from a gas diffusion pipe 2a, the bioactive carbon treatment column 3 which is packed with bioactive carbon, the active carbon treated water tank 4 of a hermetic type and the waste gaseous ozone treatment column 3. The unreacted waste gaseous ozone taken out of the ozone treatment column 3 of the above device by the effect of a suction pump 7 is partly introduced into the active carbon treated water tank 4 and is diffused from the gas diffusion pipe 4a disposed in the inside bottom of the active carbon treated water tank 4.
