The electronic digital multiplier circuit accepts decimal inputs entered through a keyboard that are encoded into 4 bit form for arithmetic processing. The numbers entered have decimal points and the multiplier circuit provides decimal point processing. The process uses repetitive addition using circuit in which values are serially added with the results entered into memory. The processing circuit is operated with signals generated by a control circuit based upon a number of modules (10a-10c) together with an additional programme circuit (30) and a display (45). ADVANTAGE - Avoids need for separate decimal point processing.
