The machine features a weigh-scale (13) with a flange (15) on all sides overlapping the surface (11) of its housing (5). Each load-bearing pin (25) passes through the centre of a water-collecting trough (31) from which water is drained through a pipe directly to an outlet (57) and into a supporting leg (7) under the base (9). A cover (23) over each pin prevents the descent of water into the collector and also provides a soft elastic support for the weigh-scale in both vertical and horizontal directions with respect to the pin.
