PURPOSE:To allow exact and rapid attaching/detaching and measuring of sample by constituting the device and instrument in such a manner that the sample can be automatically attached and detached to and from a sample base and can be automatically measured as well. CONSTITUTION:The 1st cassette cartridge is first removably set to the device A. The sample base is then held in a home position in the device B and is so set that the sample can be placed on the opened sample base. The sample is transported by the device C to the sample base and is mounted thereon. The sample is then rotated at a prescribed rotating speed and the measurement is made in accordance with preset sequence. The measuring instrument stops the rotation of the sample base upon ending of the measurement. The same operation is repeated with the 2nd and succeeding sheets of the samples. The attaching and detaching as well as measuring of the samples are executed more exactly and rapidly in this way than in the operations carried by an operator in a dark room.
