NEURON TYPE CELLULAR AUTOMATON AND OPTIMIZING DEVICE USING THE SAME

PURPOSE:To provide neuron type cellular automatons which provide a cellular automaton where cells are spread all over as the neural network and the optimizing device using the automaton. CONSTITUTION:Respective cells of cellular automatons 2a, 2b, and 2c provided at a CA part 1 are provided with growth period and stable period state deriving mechanisms 4 and 5 which develop and mutually couple cell arrays to structure and operate the neural network. An input/output part 6 which sends outputs 7 and receives inputs 9a, 9b, and 9c regarding an object question to and from the cellular automatons 2a, 2b, and 2c outputs them to an evaluation part 8. The evaluation part 8 calculates the degrees of adaption of the cellular automatons 2a, 2b, and 2c to the object question and an evaluation reflection part 11 determines the next initial states and growth periods of cellular automatons 2a, 2b, and 2c and the operations of the growth period and stable period state deriving mechanisms 4 and 5.
