PURPOSE: To prevent falling-off of a speed regulating valve when this speed regulating valve to regulate closing speed of a door is rotated and operated. ;CONSTITUTION: In a door closer 1 provided with a speed regulating valve 10 to regulate closing speed of a door D, the speed regulating valve 10 has a screw part, and a head part 13 of the screw part when the speed regulating valve 10 is rotated and operated, appears on a surface by being positioned in an operation hole 5 bored in an outside surface 2c of a door closer body. A projecting part 23 is arranged in a part of a peripheral edge part 6b of an opening edge part 6a so as to narrow an inside diameter of the opening edge part 6a of the operation hole 5, and slipping-out and falling-off of the speed regulating valve 10 are prevented.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1996,JPO
