DEVICE FOR ACTUATING A CONDUIT GATE-VALVE ASSEMBLY

Device for actuating a double guide tube slide with a master slide (10) and associated therewith a by-pass slide (11), the slide rods (21, 20) of which are coupled with one another via a double-armed lever (12) pivotally mounted on the slide housing (35) in such a way that, upon movement of one slide into the closed position, the other slide is movable into its open position and vice versa. The double-armed lever (12) has a stationary drag bearing (13). Formed on the two arms (14, 15) of the double-armed lever (12) are respectively a slide guidance means (16, 17) for receiving an entrainment means (18, 19) provided on the associated slide rod (20, 21). The slide guidance means (16, 17) are so formed and co-ordinated with one another that, in each relative position of master and by-pass slides, i.e. in any optional pivotal position of the double-armed lever (12), a substantially constant pressure differential is maintained over the entire slide arrangement (10, 11).
