Proposed is a method of manufacturing, from a throw-away metal container, a case suitable for timepiece. The used container is reshaped longitudinally and, if necessary, also radially. A cavity capable of accommodating the mechanism is also produced by reshaping. The case described is inexpensive to manufacture since it does not require the processing of any new raw materials.
