FIELD: may be used to monitor physical and chemical processes of polymerization, structurization, degree of setting and processes of ageing of materials by dispersion of dielectric loss factor caused by influencing factors, for instance, temperature, concentration, etc. SUBSTANCE: method lies in generation of high-frequency probing and low-frequency reference voltages, in their supply in turn to capacitive pickup in which electric field examined material is positioned. In the first measurement channel at start low-frequency current of fixed frequency flowing through capacitive pickup is multiplied by applied voltage of same frequency, then high-frequency current of controlled frequency flowing through capacitive pickup is multiplied by applied voltage of the same frequency. Constant components are extracted from multiplied voltages. Value of probing voltage across input of capacitive pickup is changed to obtain equality of compared voltages. In the second measurement channel at start reference low-frequency voltage supplied to exemplary voltage divider is multiplied by its output voltage, then probing high-frequency voltage across pickup is multiplied by itself, extracted constant components of multiplied voltages are compared, value of reference low-frequency voltage across output of exemplary voltage divider is changed to obtain equality of compared voltages and dispersion of dielectric loss factor is determined by change of countdown ratio of exemplary voltage divider with change of frequency of probing voltage within required frequency range. Device for realization of the method has high-frequency generator of controlled frequencies, low-frequency generator of fixed frequency capacitive pickup, current-to-voltage converter, broadband and exemplary voltage dividers, two automatic commutators, frequency divider and two measurement channels each incorporating multiplier, low-pass filter, amplifier of commutation frequency voltage, phase-sensitive rectifier and indicator. EFFECT: higher efficiency.
