PURPOSE:To prevent a scattering of slurry to the periphery by pouring the slurry into the panel of a cathode-ray tube, spreading the slurry evenly by rotating the panel, and moving a collection hood opposing to the panel by synchronizing with the revolution of the panel while revolving the panel, so as to collect the slurry. CONSTITUTION:A slurry 12 is provided in a panel 1 of a cathode-ray tube, the panel 1 is rotated to spread the slurry 12 evenly, and then, a collection hood 19 is moved opposing to the panel 1 by synchronizing with the revolution of the panel 1 while revolving the panel 1, so as to collect the slurry 12. In other words, after spreading the desired slurry 12 evenly by pouring the slurry 12 in the panel 1, the collection hood 19 is moved opposing to the panel by synchronizing with the revolution of the panel 1, to collect the excessive slurry 12 in the panel 1 into the collection hood 19. Consequently, the scattering of slurry 12 to the periphery in the slurry collection period is prevented, and since the scattering of the slurry 12 is prevented, the slurry 12 can be used profitably when it is collected and used again.
