PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an automatic hall call device for an elevator capable of generating a hall call without the need of pressing a hall button every time, and shortening a cage waiting time. ;SOLUTION: This device is equipped with the first photoelectric sensor 9 and the second photoelectric sensor 10 provided at the entrances of an uppermost hall floor 1 and a lowermost hall floor as blind alleys, and sequentially arranged along a direction for entering the floor 1, and a control panel 11 for causing a hall call for a downward travel to be generated at the uppermost hall floor 1, and a hall call for an upward travel at the lowermost hall floor, when a passenger is first detected with the first photoelectric sensor 9 and, then, with the second photoelectric sensor 10.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1997,JPO
