PURPOSE:To generate a target module with the aid of a small skeleton table by installing an exclusively used development routine for a micromachine instruction. CONSTITUTION:The skeleton development routine 3 calls an input condition deciding routine 5 corresponding to an intermediate text, and decides the state for fetching conditions. Then, in accordance with the state for the fetching conditions, necessary skeleton instruction elements are taken out of the skeleton table 2. If the taken-out skeleton instruction elements are a machine instruction, a machine language generating routine 7 is called. On the other hand, if said elements are a micromachine instruction, a corresponding microdevelopment routine 6 is called. It decides the final machine instruction according to the segment conditions inherent to each micro, and calls the machine language generating routine 7, which generates a machine instruction as a target module and stores it in a target module memory part 8.
