The DC generation uses atmospheric electrical fields which exist in the troposphere, dependant upon weather conditions. They may be captured and stored by capacitors comprising a stack of plastic sheets with thin metallic coatings on each side. Plastic sheets of 1 mm thickness, metallised with 1/1000 mm silver on one side and copper on the other side, are stacked to form a metre cube block. They can generate up to 185 kW per hour.
