MANUFACTURE OF METALLIC SINTERED BODY, AND METALLIC SINTERED BODY

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To manufacture a metallic sintered body free from deformation at the time of degreasing and sintering and excellent indimensional accuracy. ;SOLUTION: A green part 1 and a green part setter 2 are molded by using a kneaded matter of metal powder and organic binder. At the time of placing the green part 1 on a setter 3, the green part setter 2 is placed on the setter 3, and then the green part 1 is placed on the green part setter 2 after the application of a separation agent 4 composed essentially of ceramic powder to respective contact surfaces of the green part setter 2 and the green part 1. Then, degreasing and sintering treatments are carried out. By this method, sintering, free from the occurrence of deformation, can be performed, because the green part 1 is free from direct contact with the setter 3 and also the green part setter 2 and the green part 1 are subjected to the same sintering and shrinkage.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1998,JPO
