DEVICE FOR REMOVING HARMFUL MATERIAL IN WASTE INCINERATION GAS

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable removing of harmful material such as dioxin contained in waste incineration gas from a municipal refuse incinerator or the like safely and at low cost by installing a blow port for adsorbent consisting of zeolite on the upstream side of a dust collector in a flue. ;SOLUTION: Harmful material such as dioxin contained in waste incineration gas generated from a municipal refuse incinerator is adsorbed by adsorbent consisting of zeolite blown into a flue 1 from a blow port 6 and the adsorbent which has adsorbed dioxin or the like is collected by a bag filter 4. In this way, the harmful material such as dioxin is removed form the waste incineration gas. The spent adsorbent which has adsorbed dioxin or the like is recovered from the bag filter 4 and is heated in a regeneration furnace, allowing the harmful material such as dioxin to be desorbed, permitting the adsorbent to be regenerated. The regenerated adsorbent is blown again into the flue 1. The desorbed dioxin or the like is further heated in the regeneration furnace and is burned to be made harmless. Temperature in the regeneration furnace in this case is preferably 400-600°C.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1998,JPO
