PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a data transmitter, a data receiver, a data communication equipment, a data transmission method, a data reception method and a data communication method which are capable of surely transferring digital data from a transmitter side to a receiver side. ;SOLUTION: A 1st speed changeover section 13 changes over a transfer speed of digital data at a transmitter side into a prescribed speed, while a 1st command trnasmission reception section 11 sends a speed changeover command to switch a transmission speed of digital data at a receiver side into a speed which matches the prescribed speed to the receiver side. Then a source data read section 9 transfers the digital data to the receiver side at the prescribed transfer speed after the transfer speed of the digital data at the receiver side has been switched into the speed matched with the prescribed transfer speed.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1998,JPO
