STERILIZED STORAGE OF CEREAL AND DEVICE FOR STERILIZING CEREAL

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for sterilizing and storing a cereal, capable of storing the harvested cereal without a degeneration, and a device for sterilizing the cereal used for performing the above method. ;SOLUTION: This method for sterilizing and storing a cereal is a method for storing the harvested cereal by heating the surface of the cereal grains to sterilize the surface of the grains. The cereal is stored after the heat sterilization under setting a heating temperature and a heating time of a minimal necessary limit for suppressing or stopping the action of microorganisms attached to the surface of the grain. The sterilization device 1 is constituted by being equipped with a cereal fluidizing means 2 for fluidizing the harvested cereal before storing as a layer state, a hot air heating means 3 for flowing the hot air to a fluidized cereal layer from a lower direction, and a heating means with far infrared rays for irradiating the far infrared rays to the fluidized cereal layer from an upper direction.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1998,JPO
