PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To put sheets of pattern films in close contact with a mold without the occurrence of creases or distortions thereon, and miniaturize the apparatus employing sheets of pattern films at light-weight and low cost. ;SOLUTION: The method comprises the steps of rolling out pattern films 6 from a film roll 31 installed to render its roll shaft 32 horizontal on the upside of a lateral injection molding means 10 including a first mold 11 and second mold 12, allowing sheets of pattern films 1 cut off the film roll 31 to be placed and stand by, introducing them into an interstice defined between the first mold 11 and second mold 12 through movement while grasping the end part 4 in the introduction direction downstream side of the sheets of pattern films 1 by a grasping part 51, fastening the end part 4 in the introduction direction downstream side of sheets of pattern films 1 relative to the first mold 11, letting out the grasping part 51 of the interstice between the first mold 11 and second mold 12, and injecting molten resin into the cavity recess by holding sheets of pattern films 1 therebetween and clamping the first mold 11 and second mold 12.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1998,JPO
