PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pressure plate arrangement of automatic wear compensation type for a friction clutch for a car, which has a few parts and hence is simply assembled. ;SOLUTION: A pressure plate arrangement of automatic wear compensation type for a friction clutch for a car has a wear compensating member 18b rotating around a clutch axis A and a re-adjusting mechanism 24b. The re-adjusting mechanism includes a carrying element 30b in an axial direction rotatably supported on a supporting body 22b about an element shaft 28b in the axial direction. The teeth 36b formed on the wear compensating member 18b cooperates with the carrying portion in the axial direction of the carrying element 30b in the axial direction. To detect wear, a gap for movement in the direction of the clutch axis A is made between the teeth 36b of the wear compensating member 18b and the carrying portion of the carrying element 30b in the axial direction.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1998,JPO
