PURPOSE: To provide an image forming material for manufacturing an aluminum offset printing plate having improved printing characteristic by a silver salt diffusion transfer method and a method for manufacturing the planogrpahic printing plate. ;CONSTITUTION: The image forming material contains (i) a hydrophilic granulated anodic oxidation aluminum support having an aluminum oxide barrier layer having at least 10nm thickness, (ii) an image accepting layer containing at least 0.7mg/m² physical developing nucleus and (iii) a photosensitive layer containing a silver halide emulsion in a water permeable relation with the image accepting layer in this order.
