PURPOSE: To obtain a composition being curable even at room temperature and used for forming an inorganic coating film excellent in adhesion to substrate, and to provide a method for forming a coating film thereof, and an article coated with the coating film. ;CONSTITUTION: This composition mainly consists of a silicone resin and an organic-modified smectite and is used for forming an inorganic coating film having transparency and excellent adhesion and not undergoing crazing and peeling by applying it to a substrate, drying the wet film, and leaving the dried film at room temperature or heating it.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1996,JPO
