A single-use device for delivering an active liquid into a body cavity (10), including a central member (1) having means for contacting the mucosa of the body cavity (10); a peripheral member (4) arranged around the central member (1) and including an expandable liquid-absorbing pad (11); a liquid-tight means (5) for temporarily protecting the peripheral member (4) with respect to the central member (1); an active liquid source (12) within the central member (1) or the peripheral member (4); and a collecting means (13) for collecting the active liquid after it has flowed through the body cavity, within the peripheral member (4) or the central member (1).
