High temperature monolayer coating on ceramic substrate and its production

摘要

A single layer high temp. coating, for esp. porous ceramic substrates, has the compsn. (by wt.) 45-55% silica-rich enamelling gel frit, 25-50% MoSi2 or Cr2O3 (as emittance agent) and 5-20% Al2O3. Also claimed is a process for providing an esp. porous ceramic substrate with the above coating.
