FIELD: medical engineering. SUBSTANCE: method involves applying boot-shaped plaster bandage to foot and shin of injured extremity. The bandage is placed into device to expose anterior surface of the shin to pressure produced by means of the device to transfer pressure to tuberosity of the tibia over posterointerior surface of the tibial condyle and posteroexterior surface of the exterior tibial condyle reaching also fibial head. The device has knee rest being frame with L-shaped rod having foot-supporting member. Cantilever is made as reposition lever having block with handle and rope positioned on axle. Boot-shaped plaster bandage is applied to shin and foot of injured extremity in process of method execution and placed into device to bring the knee rest under the proximal region of tibia at the level of shinbone head. The fixing member applies pressure over exterior and interior surface to anterior shin surface to produce pressure in the region of tuberosity of the tibia.
