FILM LEADER AND METHOD FOR CONNECTING FILM LEADER TO FILM

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for surely connecting a simply constituted leader to a film. ;SOLUTION: The film leader is provided with a catch member 2 constituted of catches 221 and 222, a base part and a flexible sheet with a narrow part installed between the catches 221 and 222 and the base part, a bridge part 142 capable of engaging with the base part of the member 2 and held between two opening, and a leader body 1 constituted of a fixable sheet with engaging holes 150 and 151 for accepting the catches 221 and 222 of the member 2 so that they may be engaged with the holes, and then, one end of the film to be processed is inserted in between the film leader and the leader body which are integrated by making the base part pass under the part 142 and engaging the base part with the part 142, then, the catches 221 and 222 are inserted into connection holes formed in the film and the engaging holes 150 and 151 of the leader body 1, thus, the film leader is connected to the film through the engagement of the leading end of the catches with the leader body 1 with the engaging holes formed.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1999,JPO
