PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a combustion equipment which generates no misfire even when the ratio of water to fuel oil is increased. ;SOLUTION: The temperature of vapor mixed and burned with a fuel oil is further elevated. The vapor which is heated by a water vaporizing tube 17 and is discharged from a tube opening portion which constitutes an upper portion of the water vaporizing tube 17 enters a superheating tube 9 after passing through a vapor transfer tube 8. The superheating tube 9 is wound around an upper portion of a cylinder made of a pair of vaporizing tubes 16, 17. The superheating tube 9 has the same diameter as the cylinder. The vapor superheated by this superheated tube 9 enters a water injection nozzle disposed parallel to an oil injection nozzle by way of a vaporized water supply tube 25 and is blown off together with the fuel oil. Furthermore, in case the heat transfer to the water vaporizing tube 17 is not carried out sufficiently at the initial stage of ignition, that is, in case the temperature of the vapor is low, the rate of water to the fuel oil is lowered, while corresponding to the elevation of the temperature of the water vaporizing tube 17, the ratio of water to the fuel oil is gradually increased so that an optimal oil-water ratio is obtained at the time of injecting the superheated vapor.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1999,JPO
