PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To automatically display guide information about an scheduled passage point and expected passage time based on GPS(global positioning system) and VICS(vehicle information and communication system). ;SOLUTION: Whether such car's position as estimated from GPS information is within a specified distance range from an scheduled passage point or not is judged, and if it is so, a guide information corresponding to the scheduled passage point is read out of a storage medium in a storage part 16, while traffic jam information extracted from the VICS information referenced, so that a required time to reach a scheduled passage point is estimated, and these guide information and required time are displayed as video or voice sound information on display parts 19 and 20.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1999,JPO
