PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To surely prevent an infectious waste from igniting in a heat sterilization part and to perform sterilization treatment of even a waste mixed with a large amt. of water content in a short time. ;SOLUTION: A waste is fed into the inside drawer 23 for storing the waste from an inlet 11 for infectious waste of a housing for heat sterilization and heat sterilization treatment of the waste is performed under vacuum and then, after the waste is cooled by feeding a non-combustible gas into the drawer 23, the drawer 23 is drawn forward along guides 26 and 27 for the drawer and the bottom wall of the drawer 23 is opened downward to discharge the sterilized waste.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1999,JPO
