The present invention minimizes the burden on software and hardware for message transmission by configuring a dedicated hardware that supports efficient message transmission and maximizes the message transmission speed by maximally reflecting the structural characteristics of the parallel computer system of the message delivery method. Disclosed are a message transmission apparatus and a message transmission control method in a packet interconnection network, which provide flexibility and high scalability for selecting a message transmission scheme according to characteristics of a message.
