FIELD: dairy industry and radiation ecology. SUBSTANCE: invention is intended for liquid biological media, in particular, milk products. Milk is mixed with hydrochloric acid to pH 4.2-4.5 and sorbent is added at its ratio to milk 1: 25. Mixture is shaken for 10 min, cooled to 4 C, and filtered through "Lavsan" (Dacron) cloth. Precipitate is washed out from filter with cold distilled water and transferred onto preliminarily weighed aluminum foil carrier where it is dried and strontium-90 activity is then radiometrically determined.
