The radiation energy coupling method has coherent radiation divided into 2 partial beams which intersect at a selected angle for optical interference, with a holographic filter (6) provided by a photographic layer positioned at the intersection zone. Radiation from at least one radiation source (7,8) is directed through the holographic filter, for wavelength-selective transmission or reflection to the radiation field. Independent claims are also included for the following: (a) a device for providing radiation in a selected spectral range; (b) an application of a holographic device for provision of radiation in a selected spectral range.
