PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily adjust longitudinal movement by engaging the other end of a turn arm with a seat cushion, and inserting a fluid type actuator, capable of locking/unlocking an extension/contraction condition, between the vicinity of a journalled position and a front end part of a base frame. ;SOLUTION: In order to adjust a longitudinal position of a seat cushion 13 matched with foundness of a seater, an unlock button 55 formed in an arm rest 17 is pressed in a seating condition, so as to unlock a lock condition of a fluid type actuator 53 through a wire cable 54. By moving a waist in a seating condition by a seater, a seat cushion frame 31 is guided by sliders 40L, 40R, the seat cushion frame can be moved longitudinally during the time before both end parts of a slot 44 of a support bracket 42 are brought into contact with a pivotal support pin 39, and by releasing pressing of the unlock button 55 in a desired extension/contraction condition, the fluid type actuator 53 is placed in a lock condition, so as to fix a longitudinal position of the seat cushion 13.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1997,JPO
