PPROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a backseat frame structure for a vehicle seat without being bent with respect to a load in the width direction of a vehicle without increasing the weight. PSOLUTION: The backseat frame structure 16 includes a pair of side frames 20A and 20B spaced apart from each other in the width direction of the vehicle; an upper frame 22 which connects the upper ends of the side frames with each other; and a lower frame 24 which connects the lower ends of the side frames with each other. Obliquely stretched wires 14A and 14B are stretched between the lower end of one side frame and the upper end of the other side frame, and tension is generated in the obliquely stretched wires so that the bending deformation is not generated in the backseat frame structure when loads are applied in the width direction of the vehicle from one side frame to which the lower end of the obliquely stretched wire is anchored to the other side frame to which the upper end of the obliquely stretched wire is anchored.
