PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sealing device for a rotary feeder, so designed as to prevent air from leaking from side walls by a relative simple device without using high-pressure air and as to exhibit suitable sealing pressure by freely adjusting sealing pressure by adjusting clamping force. ;SOLUTION: Side walls 11, 11 are provided on both sides of a rotor 10 rotating in a easing 1 of a rotary feeder, ring-shaped elastic sealing materials 12, 12 provided along the outer peripheral edges of respective outer side edges of the side walls 11, 11 are clamped by clamping members 13, 13 provided outside them and then elastically deformed so as to be expanded toward the inner wall surfaces of the casing 1, and therefore, air leakage from a clearance between the side walls 11, 11 and the casing 1 is prevented.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2000,JPO
