PPROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the sealing performance of a sealing device and to minimize the abrasion of a seal member of the sealing device, in the sealing device for sealing a part between two spaces adjacent to each other among a plurality of spaces formed in a casing, in the rotating direction of a rotor by an inner wall of the casing and a plurality of recessed parts of the rotor rotatably mounted in the casing. PSOLUTION: The elastic seal member 17A is mounted in such a state that its basic end part 19A side is located on a part of the rotor 9 positioned between the recessed parts forming two spaces 15A, 15G, and its tip part 21A side is extended toward the inner wall 3A to a position slightly separated from the inner wall 3A of the casing 3, and extended in the direction of the rotation central axis CL1 of the rotor 9, and the seal member 13 is elastically deformed by the pressure difference between two spaces 15A, 15G to be kept into contact with the inner wall 3A for sealing the same.
