The invention relates to a device fordistributing a working gas, comprising a series ofpipes connected to at least one source of working gasand to at least one outlet pipe for conveying theworking gas towards a consumer station, functionalmembers (25, 25A); and a-command-control unit (35, 35A)comprising means (37) for communicating with the saidfunctional members (35, 35A), means (39) forcontrolling tasks relating to the said functionalmembers (25, 25A) and means (45) for operating thecontrol means (39), which can be actuated by anoperator of the distribution device. The operatingmeans (45) comprise a touch-sensitive screen (47) whichhas main control zones associated with the control ofcorresponding tasks, which main control zones aredelimited by graphics associated with the said tasksand displayed permanently on the said touch-sensitivescreen (47).
