PURPOSE: A method for forming a double blade side plate of a liquid crystal display panel and a mold therefor are provided to suppress vaporization by draining out gases. CONSTITUTION: A method for forming a double blade side plate of a liquid crystal display panel includes a plurality of gas outlet holes(16), a plurality of heaters(H) and a heat path(18). A mold base(M) includes a top plate(1), an upper plate(2), a lower plate(3), a space block(4) and a base plate(5). A frame forming portion(11) and a tuck blade forming portion(14,14a) are formed on the ground surface between the slice cores(10,10a). The plurality of gas outlet holes(16) is formed on the lower portion of the on the ground surface between the slice cores(10,10a) in a zigzag formation. The plurality of heaters(H) is inserted in the upper plate and the lower plate so as for a material to be cooled off. The heat path(18) is formed on the heaters. Panel plates(30,30a) are provided as a heater and formed on a lower surface of the space plate and the upper surface of the top plate so as to increase heat capacity.
