Nucleotide Sequences of Japanese Encephalitis Virus Isolated from Korea

PURPOSE: Provided are PrM sequence and base sequence of envelope genes of Japanese encephalitis virus (JEV) 5 strains (K96P10, K94P05, K91P55, K87P39, K82P01) isolated from Korea. And base sequence and amino acid sequence of entire genome of K94P05 strain are also provided, which are used in preparing recombinant vaccine. CONSTITUTION: PrM sequence and base sequence of envelope gene of Japanese encephalitis virus (JEV) 5 strains is identified by the identification of serologic discrepancy between strains isolated form Korea and the other strain by Cross-hemagglutination inhibition test and the identification of the base sequence of the envelope gene of the strains isolated form Korea.
