PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a composition having excellent inhibiting effect against discoloration by nitrogen oxide gas without affecting the original performances of an organic polymer material such as thermal resistance and processing stability, and to provide an organic polymer material containing the composition.;SOLUTION: This composition for inhibiting discoloration of the organic polymer material by nitrogen oxide gas comprises (a) at least one compound expressed by the general formula (1), (b) a phenolic antioxidant and (c) a phosphoric antioxidant, wherein R1 represents an alkyl group having 1 to 18 carbons or an alkenyl group having 2 to 18 carbons; R2 represents an alkyl group having 1 to 5 carbons; R3, R4 and R5 each independently represents a hydrogen atom or an alkyl group having 1 to 5 carbons; and R6 represents a hydrogen atom or an alkyl group having 1 to 5 carbons.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2001,JPO
