The drive has a driving pinion (1), which drives a ring gear (2) and is connected to a rotating differential holder (3). The driving pinion has at least one coupling (6) to lock the balancing drive partly or completely. The ring gear is arranged between a cover (4) and the differential holder and has two support faces (7,8) for a coupling (6) that is operated by a control unit (5) and a self-locking coupling.
