Connector (1) has drum (9) receiving cable and contact section (11) so as to be attached to corresponding connector (2). Drum is attached to contact section using intermediate element (13) that is surrounded by centering system (17). Centering system has metallic envelope with cutouts, and three tabs (17.1) extending from envelope, and orientated towards wall of cell (16) around intermediate element. Due to their elasticity, tabs help centering contact section in cell. An Independent claim is also included for the connector set comprising two connectors.
