PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To smoothly carry out delivery in a structure equipped with a pair of left and right engaging and transporting mechanisms and capable of delivering reaped grain culms engaged and transported from either one of the engaging and transporting mechanisms to the other engaging and transporting mechanism.;SOLUTION: This structure for transporting grain culms of a combine harvester is obtained by connectedly installing a delivering and transporting area nearly parallel to a first engaging and transporting mechanism 11 subsequently to the terminal end of a transverse transporting area in a second ear tip engaging and transporting mechanism 13, composing engaging claws 13a for transportation so as to intersect a transporting passage at nearly right angles and moving the engaging claws 13a in the transverse transporting area and composing the engaging claws 13a for transportation of the second ear tip engaging and transporting mechanism 13 so as to move at a sweepback angle α in the delivering and transporting area.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2002,JPO
