PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To compare cost estimation of proposals proposed by several designers by on-line.;SOLUTION: This system comprises a displaying step for comparing/ displaying several cost estimates contained in several proposals recorded in a transmitted proposal recording means, a preparer's information embedding step for embedding preparer's information in image data for electronic watermark when the image data are transmitted at a request transmitting step and a proposal transmitting step, a settling step for on-line settling an application fee of which a client showing his or her demand for requesting design by a competition pays at using the competition and a commission of which a proposer participates in the competition pays if the proposal prepared on the basis of the request from the client is adopted, a reporting step for reporting the adoption of the proposal, and a refunding step for refunding the application fee paid by the client if the adoption of the proposal is reported at the reporting step.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2002,JPO
