PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a building joint designing method which enables even a person who does not have technical knowledge to apply a proper calculation expression for designing a building joint part according to respective conditions and then to easily complete building joint part designing including the determination of a sealing material through the application of the calculation expression.;SOLUTION: A building joint design system has a server and a client which can be connected the server; and the server receives (41) conditions for building joint design from the client, performs (42) computation for the building joint design under the received conditions by using a wizard for the building joint designing, and sends (43) the computation result out to the client, which inputs and the conditions for the building joint design and sends it to the server, receives the result of the building joint design computed by the server by using the sent conditions, and displays (44) the received result.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2001,JPO
