PURPOSE: A method for printing natural fiber using a printing paste composition obtained by adding an additive such as acrylic resin, bentonite or the like to conventional paste is provided which remarkably reduces the amount of a dye to be used and improves color sharpness and color development during printing natural fiber. CONSTITUTION: A color paste having a viscosity of 9,500 to 10,500cps is prepared by using a paste composition comprising 70 to 90 parts by weight of guar gum or sodium alginate and 30 to 10 parts by weight of at least one selected from the group consisting of carboxymethyl cellulose, acrylic resin, bentonite and silica as an additive sodium, printed into an object to be dyed and then post-treated such as drying, steaming, desizing and soaping after printing.
