Between each two adjoining edge sockets (4,5) which define the shower wall and/or shower door is a clamping shoe (6) which connect the two sockets together so at least one of the edge sockets can be displaced in or on same. The clamping shoe engages over at least one of the adjoining sockets on the outside. The clamping shoe has a profiled longitudinal channel which forms a compulsory guide for the edge sockets.
