The machine for cleaning cotton, at a spinning plant, has a feed which delivers the cotton to a number of opening and cleaning rollers. A plain roller, without any cleaning fittings, takes the cotton fibers from the final cleaning roller at a higher rotary speed, and with a rotating surface speed at least 36% faster than the last cleaning roller. The roller surface is structured to allow the fibers to be detached easily.
