Image forming device having function of detecting paper jam

PURPOSE: An image forming system having a function of sensing paper jam is provided to detect paper jam that occurs between a fixing device and a paper discharging roller rapidly. CONSTITUTION: An image forming system includes the first, second and third detectors(261,263,264), and a controller. The first detector detects discharging of the front end of paper from a feeding roller(232). The second detector detects discharging of the front end of the paper from a fixing device(250). The third detector detects discharging of the front end of the paper from a paper discharging roller(233). The controller judges that the paper is jammed between the fixing roller and paper discharging roller when the controller does not receive the third detection signal from the third detector within a predetermined reference time after acceptance of the second detection signal from the second detector.
